On 22 February, Board Chair Paul Larcher announced that Rohan Braddy has made the difficult decision to resign as Mambourin CEO.
Rohan has been Mambourin’s CEO for a huge 21 years, and the organisation has seen significant change and growth under his leadership. This includes mergers and acquisitions, the opening of several new community hubs, the expansion of our MBS warehouses, gardening teams and training centre, and the head office move from Werribee to Derrimut.
Rohan ably steered Mambourin through the most difficult years of the pandemic. His guidance allowed us to not only survive as an organisation, but come out of it renewed.
Perhaps most significant is the high quality of services Mambourin has delivered during Rohan’s time as CEO. Rohan has loved working closely with the Mambourin community, so much so that he is on a first name basis with many community members – no mean feat considering we currently support more than 400 people.
Paul Larcher thanked Rohan on behalf of the board of directors, ‘I would like to thank Rohan for his unwavering commitment to the Mambourin team, and most importantly to the people we support, their parents and carers.’
Rohan’s final day with Mambourin will be Thursday 6 April. He will be working closely with the board of directors and senior leadership team to ensure a smooth transition.
Further announcements will be made about acting arrangements once these have been finalised.
Rohan said this was not a decision that he took lightly, and although he is incredibly proud to serve as Mambourin CEO, ‘from the point of view of my career, I am ready for the next big challenge, and I look forward to applying my skills, knowledge, and experience to an exciting new role.’
Rohan will be greatly missed by all in the Mambourin community. We wish him the very best in his new role.
