Our NDIS and Intake team closely follow all the latest in the NDIS space so that we can better support you to navigate the system. That’s why we’ve decided to launch the NDIS Digest – a bi-monthly bulletin outlining key updates on managing your NDIS funding and getting the most out of your plan.
We’re excited to announce our bi-monthly bulletin on all things NDIS. This will be distributed to all community members, parents and carers through your local community hub, or MBS supervisor.
Annual pricing review and changes
The NDIA has announced the updated NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for 2023–24. This included a pricing increase in particular areas of NDIS funding.
The price limits for supports delivered by Disability Support Workers will be adjusted by 5.3%. For Mambourin community members, this will affect your core support funding.
The new price limits will be effective from 1 July 2023 and will automatically apply as per our service agreement.
All NDIS participants’ plans will be adjusted next month, with funding to be indexed to 1 July to account for these pricing changes. This means there should be no shortfall to funding already committed to Mambourin.

Update to our team
Roberto Lazaro, NDIS and Intake Coordinator will be on leave from 18 July through to 22 September.
Christian Malaca will be stepping up as Acting NDIS and Intake Coordinator during this time.
Christian’s been with us for almost four years, having commenced as a casual before moving to a permanent role. Most recently Christian has been stepping up at our Sunshine Hub to help in the role of Acting Team Leader when needed.
