Did you know that the Flexi Choices team is now offering more than just group and one-to-one supports? Mambourin has expanded into overnight stays and supported holidays. This year we planned and assisted several Mambourin Community Members to head away to places that interested them – Warrnambool, Portland, Echuca, Queenscliff, Bendigo, Torquay and Melbourne CBD.

Thomas has been away on two holidays this year – Queenscliff and Echuca. At Queenscliff, Thomas caught the ferry to Sorrento and played Mini Golf. In Echuca he enjoyed a ride on the paddle steamer, visiting the Holden Car Museum, and swimming in the hotel pool.

Steven has been away on three holidays this year – Warrnambool, Portland and Queenscliff. An avid fisherman, Steven enjoyed his time in Warrnambool. Unfortunately it was not a good weekend out on the water, but he went to the Maritime Museum, hot springs, and enjoyed a good pub meal. Portland and Queenscliff were better for fishing and Steven even caught a few.

Siblings Scott and Alice ventured to Bendigo for a weekend. They had an action-packed time visiting Maldon Heritage Train, Japanese Gardens, Deborah Gold Mine, Bendigo Show and the movies. We think they needed a holiday to recover from their holiday!
