Each year our Mambourin Business Solutions team recognises the trainees who have proven their strong work ethic, shown the most growth or demonstrated their leadership potential. We’d like to congratulate the following award winners:
Trainee of the Year – Kaw Clay
Kaw Clay was identified very early in his traineeship program as a young man of unlimited potential. His easy-going nature, his willingness to learn, undertake new tasks and strong work ethic made him stand out. During the course of the year, he has demonstrated excellent leadership potential; he works well with others and motivates and supports his fellow trainees in the workplace. He has developed strong employability skills including communication, teamwork and self-management. We are really looking forward to working with Kaw Clay next year as he continues his training journey with us.
Certificate II Trainee of the Year – Nyaut Than
This was a difficult award to select as this year we had several candidates that could have easily been selected to receive it, but Nyaut Than’s performance over the entire year was commendable. He demonstrated a strong work ethic through his reliability, productivity and cooperation. His smile is infectious and certainly brightened up the workday. He also demonstrated an excellent ability to get on with others and show initiative.
Most Improved – Ross
When Ross first started with us, he was a shy and very reserved young man. To see the progress in him is to see what the program is all about. As the year progressed, his ability to understand the subjects, his work ethic and involvement with staff and his peers improved dramatically. As his confidence grew, his motivation to learn and understand increased significantly. He has shown tremendous growth not only in knowledge but also in acquiring skills, and his willingness to step outside his comfort zone. Well done Ross, we hope you are as proud of yourself as we are.
Jackson School Special Award – Jayden
If you could bottle enthusiasm you would bottle Jayden! His attitude, his behaviour and of course his enthusiasm made him stand out. He demonstrated excellent workplace skills, leadership ability and a positive work ethic. Congratulations Jayden, a well-deserved award.
Certificate III Trainee of Merit – Aaron
For the first 12 months Aaron undertook his Certificate II training with us but the next 12 months doing his Certificate III were really pivotal in Aaron reaching his potential. He started to realise that with increased involvement in his training he understood more, was able to assist his peers and step up into more leadership roles. Aaron is a prime example of what can be achieved when a trainee realises that with increased effort and good support anything is possible. We wish Aaron well on any future endeavours he undertakes and if he takes the same attitude with him he will do well!
